In my work of fiction, "Never Alone," this is what Thomas Nansen has to learn. This 30,000 word spiritual drama exploring faith, grief, and redemption, follows a young man doubting his faith. When tragedy strips him of everything he loves—his family and his faith—he is left with nothing but anger and despair.
Once raised in a devout Catholic home, Thomas gradually abandons God as grief hardens his heart. What begins as desperation turns into greed, and soon he is living the life of a criminal. With each choice he makes, he risks losing himself completely.
"Never Alone" is a story of struggle and sorrow, showing that God is near even amidst the darkest trials and that he is always willing to forgive.
